America Wins When America Leads. To continue to lead we are asking the US Congress to approve at least $51 billion for FY2027 International Affairs budget including assistance for the people of Myanmar. And we must prepare for the next 250 Years!

USA must lead the world, including supporting peace and democracy in Myanmar (Burma). And Indiana must continue to lead that effort. Always great to be with Honorable Senator Todd Young.

Scholarship and higher Education opportunities for students from Myanmar to study in the USA: NAFSA: Association of International Educators, the world's largest NGO association dedicated to international education and exchange offers one of the greatest opportunities, indeed it has supported the Myanmar Scholars and Leaders Program (MSLP), which supported Doctoral and Master’s students at some of the top-notch graduate schools including Harvard University, Indiana University Bloomington, Purdue University, Tufts University and Western Illinois University.

Glad to have a catch up meeting in Washington D.C. with NAFSA CEO Dr. Fanta Aw where we had the opportunity to explore ways in which they can strengthen and expand the collaborative opportunities for Myanmar students and for the greater impact on our global community. I have every reason to be optimistic for the future particularly in this area.

Big congratulations to Dr. Ye Win Latt on receiving a Ph.D. degree in Global Leadership from IIT - Indiana Institute of Technology. Had a brief but great catch up with a good and long-time friend —-Incredibly proud of you!
