Christel House Academy South serves K-12 students. It is a public charter school located in Indianapolis. Now the real work could begin.
In May, 2001, Indiana became the 37th state to pass charter schools legislation. The new law gave the Mayor of Indianapolis, among other entities, the authority to charter schools. Later that same year, Christel House Academy was legally established, and its board of directors began the ambitious task of applying to the Mayor’s office for authority to create a charter school. On Saturday, our 3rd–5th grade girls participated in their very first Girls on the Run race, and they were absolutely amazing! We are so proud of their hard work, determination, and teamwork throughout the season and on race day.
Thank you to all of our parents and staff for your support and encouragement throughout this experience. We truly appreciate everyone who helped make this such a memorable day for our girls!
