ACTION PLAN: COVID-19
The health of our children is important to all of us. We want to insure our Kidscape families that we are closely monitoring the situation with COVID-19. We are taking all the precautionary measures and focusing our cleaning efforts on frequently touched surfaces with a antiviral cleaner, that we use per state regulations. Kidscape advises our families to use everyday practices to prevent cold, flu, and other respiratory illnesses to protect people against coronaviruses including COVID-19.
We are asking for you to take the following actions to stay healthy.
• keep your child home if they are sick - if they are showing signs of a respiratory illness (fever, cough, and/ or shortness of breath), keep them home until they have been fever free for at least 72 hours without the use of fever reducing medication, and all other symptoms are better
• washing hands frequently - with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, when soap and water are not available use an alcohol based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol
• using and teaching your children coughing etiquette - this includes covering their mouth and nose with a tissue when coughing or sneezing and throwing away tissue after use in the nearest trash can.
• avoiding close contact with people who are sick - if you know of anyone that your child could come in contact with that is showing symptoms of a respiratory illness try to prevent these interactions to a minimum
If you or your child has been identified with COVID-19 please alert us immediately
