Watch the World Robotics virtual tournament this weekend!

This Saturday, April 25th, REC Foundation and VEX Robotics will be hosting the VEX Robotics Virtual World Celebration! There will be highlights from the season, the 2020-2021 VEX IQ Challenge and VEX Robotics Competition games will be unveiled, AND there will be a Fantasy Robotics Tournament simulation with awards throughout the celebration. This is a great family activity you can do on Saturday!!

Teams who qualified for Worlds will be featured in the tournament simulation. Although this is super exciting, we want to emphasize the importance of maintaining social distancing and recommend setting up virtual viewing parties with your teams!

Great day at the Triton Central Robotics tournament! Very proud of both teams and their hardwork. 12041A improved their program at the tournament, and had an amazing skills score to win 1st place in skills. They are now ranked 11th in the state for their skills score
12041B was in the top 10 after qualifications, top 10 skills for the day, and received the Excellence award for the tournament. This award is given to teams for having high scores in all areas, including judging, and for their sportsmanship. This is a very difficult award to win at a tournament!

We had a great time at the scrimmage with Abraham Lincoln Elementary tonight! We were able to try out our robots, and learn what does and doesn't work. Excited to make improvements and get our robots ready for our tournament on Nov 16th!

Another great robotics season comes to an end! We met our goals to have 2 teams qualify for Worlds, improve our programming skills, and have FUN with robots! We had a blast at meeting new friends from all over the world, driving robots, and spending time with friends.
