It seems like yesterday this great school was just a dream from a group of talented and dedicated community members.

Moments like this remind us why Seven Oaks is so special. This photo perfectly captures the heart of our school: relationships, mentorship, and the value of learning life skills alongside academics. Here is our incredible 6th Grade Teacher, Mr. Richardson, taking the time to teach one of his students how to tie a tie.

It’s more than just a tie—it’s a lesson in confidence, independence, and growing into a young gentleman. Thank you, Mr. Richardson, for your patience, kindness, and for always going above and beyond for your students. These small moments leave a lasting impact and truly embody what it means to teach the whole child.

A great team!

Five years ago today Dynamic Minds Academy opened its doors to the autism community to provide the only educational model that fully integrates ABA therapy with a public school education under one roof! This amazing feat could not have been accomplished without the hard work of several individuals and groups.

First, we would like to thank Julie Gordon, the President and owner of The Hope Source for having the dream that became Dynamic Minds Academy. Her continued collaboration and guidance throughout our first 5 years has been priceless!

Next, we would like to thank Kevin Davis of Indiana Charters for his support in writing and developing the original charter and his team's continued support through our opening and beyond.

We would also like to thank our authorizer, EducationOne Trine for taking a chance on our innovative model. Giving us 5 years to prove the need for our program and granting us a 15-year renewal will provide us the opportunity to help thousands of families in the Indianapolis area!

Thank you to our founding Board of Directors, the last of which ended their terms with the 2023-2024 school year. You have set a foundation that our new board members will be able to take to the next level!

Finally, thank you to the staff and families that have taken a chance on our model and believe in our vision and mission. We know there have been bumps along the way and your continued support, feedback, and collaboration has helped us perfect our approach for all involved.

Here is to the next 15 years and beyond for Dynamic Minds Academy!

Great school continuing to get better! Our IC team proudly helped to launch this school a few years ago. They built their capacity internally over several years to move away from our services. That's called "success."

We hope 23-24 will be your best year yet.

We are thrilled to announce the first Firehawk Fellowship event, a gathering for new students in grades 6-12 to meet the faculty, make new friends, and learn about the school before the start of classes. Our student ambassadors and faculty will be on hand to answer any questions you may have, play games, and take you on a tour. Pizza will be provided. If you are a new student in grades 6-12 please join us on Friday August, 4 from 9:00-11:00 a.m., we highly encourage you to attend this event. Don't miss out!
