A big shoutout to Ron Nicholson, Class of 78'. Ron has recently won the Chickasaw Playwriting Prize. His play "The King and Queen of Foggy Flats" premiered in Mobile, Alabama in June 2026. His debut novel "Justice House Shadows" was published by Main Street Rag Publications (mainstreetrag.com) in June 0f 2025. He is professor emeritus of English at Ivy Tech Community College and has been published in numerous literary journals and magazines. A sample of his work can be found at www.thecountyquirk.com He and his wife of 44 years live in a small Ohio River Valley town with their Russian Blue rescue cat Steinbeck. Congratulations Ron.
