Our Primary children recently prepared their own oatmeal with milk and carefully warmed it in the microwave. What made this moment so meaningful was not just the work itself, but the way they observed and learned from one another. They watched closely as Diana, our head of school, handled the warm bowl with care, and then thoughtfully did the same.

Moments like these remind us that children are always observing, always absorbing, and always striving for independence. Their excitement, focus, and pride in completing a real-life task made this experience simply beautiful 💛

What a LOVE-filled day at Fall Creek Montessori! 💕✨

Our children were beyond excited to exchange Valentine’s cards with their friends, sharing smiles, kindness, and so much joy. The sweetness in the room was contagious!

We wrapped up the celebration with a picnic-style gathering in the big room, bringing all the classrooms together for laughter, connection, and the happiest little faces. It was such a special day celebrating friendship and community! ❤️

🌻 This summer, our children cared for the plants they grew—and now we’re bringing the summer bounty into the classroom! Our biggest winner this year was the sunflower 🌻.
The children loved harvesting the seeds, using tweezers to carefully pick them out—turning this special moment into meaningful work on the shelf. Hands-on learning, straight from nature! 🌱✨

🎨 Art Appreciation Week 🖌️
Last week, our friends explored the colorful world of art! They learned about famous painters and what it means to create art from the heart.
From pointillism to mosaics, bold lines to swirling brushstrokes, the children experimented with a variety of techniques, tools, and styles.
They even made their own dream versions of Starry Night and wrapped up the week by curating beautiful collages of their work. 🖼️💫
It was a week full of imagination, creativity, and self-expression!

Last week was Science Week and our little scientists had an absolute blast! 🧪✨
From exploding soda bottles that filled the air with excitement 💥, to rubbing balloons on their hair and making butterfly wings flap with static electricity ⚡🦋, to colorful dancing milk that showed how water and fats don’t mix 🥛🎨 — and so much more!
It was a week full of curiosity, discovery, and hands-on fun. We’re so proud of our budding scientists! 💡🔬

Lights, camera, action! 🎫 🎬 Last week at camp was all about "Film Through the Ages," exploring the evolution of movies from black and white to sound to color. We loved watching La Luna and were so impressed with all the fantastic crafts our campers made!

Little hands, big harvests! Our playground berry bushes are bringing so much joy (and delicious snacks!) to our students. So fun watching them pick fresh berries right here at Fall Creek Montessori!

This week, our summer campers took a trip "Around the World" without leaving school! From China to Mexico, India to Australia, and Ireland, it was a week packed with discovery and cultural fun. The henna was a huge hit! And of course, we're ending it all with the best kind of summer cool-down: water day! These are the memories summer is made of! ✈️🌏💦
