IASB High School News Anchor State Finals - 2025 WTHR hosted the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters state finals for the high school TV news anchor competition.

Six finalists competed in the High School News Anchor live competition at in Indianapolis Saturday morning. The place winners will be announced at the Spring Conference and Awards Program March 10.

Congratulations to Steve George, who received the John King Award Wednesday at the IASB Summer Instructors’ Workshop for his outstanding & distinguished longtime service & contributions to educational broadcasting. Steve is the former radio director at 91.5 WRFT at Franklin Central High School.
