✏️🥨 There’s still time to make a difference!

Tomorrow is the LAST DAY to support Pretzels to Pencils, a Teachers’ Treasures supply drive in partnership with Kroger!

Items needed include these:
- Shelf-stable snacks: Crackers, granola bars, and fruit cups.
- School supplies: Pencils, notebooks, folders, and glue sticks.
- Virtual donations: For those who prefer to give digitally, online contributions are also accepted.

Every donation, big or small, helps make sure teachers have the resources they need and students can start the school year ready to learn.

Our community braved the 90 Degree weather today for our last Pencil Push Supply Drive official drop off celebration!

We've seen the Marion County Prosecutor's Office every back-to-school season for many years and today they donated 1712 items for our shelves--it took 3 car loads and multiple hands to get it all in the door!

Becovic Management Group of Indiana brought all 5 of their properties together to donate a GIANT donation of everything from pencils and glue to cleaning supplies and airplane building kits!

Realty Group rolled up their sleeves to count and organize all of the supply drive items donated over the past few weeks!

Three different groups took time out of their day to come together for one purpose: supporting our teachers and classrooms. It takes all of us to uplift our educational community and we are so grateful for the support!

Yesterday, Hanna joined Life Style Live with WishTV to talk about Pretzels to Pencils, our supply drive in partnership with Kroger to collect both school supplies and snacks for teachers during the back-to-school season.

A huge thank you to Mirror Indy for their thoughtful reporting on what Indianapolis students really need this school year. Their recent article, "Beyond Backpacks: What Do Kids Need That's Not on the Supplies List?", goes beyond the typical school supply list to highlight the everyday needs that too often go unnoticed. It's exactly the kind of storytelling that helps our community show up in the right ways.

As educators told Mirror Indy, these are the items classrooms need all year long:
- Clothes, eyeglasses, belts and wash cloths
- Male hygiene kits, often overlooked in donation drives
- Scissors and glue sticks
- Classroom snacks
- Sensory toys

These aren't one-time, back-to-school-only needs. Teachers are asking for this support throughout the entire school year, as students' needs shift with the seasons and circumstances change at home.

Whether it's your time, your talent or your treasure, every contribution helps a teacher say "yes" to a student who needs support.

We are so excited to work with Kroger to support our classrooms with the Pretzels to Pencils Supply Drive! Here's how it works:

-Starting Monday 8/24, purchase shelf-stable snacks and school supplies, including paper goods and hygiene items, in store.
-Drop items off in the designated Pencil Push Boxes at select Kroger locations' check out area.
