What an amazing turn out for Trenton’s benefit open mat at this morning !!!

It was beautiful to see the support from so many surrounding gyms for a member of the Indiana MMA & Jiu Jitsu community.

The energy was POWERFUL, and when Coach gave his speech about who Trenton is and what he means to the team, I didn’t see a dry eye in the building. I felt very moved and very proud to be there to show my support, and I’m especially proud of the members of 10th Planet Indy who joined me this morning.

As a Coach I couldn’t imagine one of my guys having to battle something as tough as what Trenton, his family, and his team is, and I only pray if one of our own ever did have to navigate such a difficult situation, everyone would show up for them just the same.

May God bless you with peace and healing as you recover Trenton !

Trenton is currently battling cancer and their gym will be hosting a donation based / benefit open mat to support Trenton and his family during this difficult time they are navigating.

We want to show that even if we are on different teams, we are still one united group of Indiana MMA & Jiu Jitsu, so please show up and donate anything you are able to if you are free and available tomorrow morning!

‼️ CCMAF / 10th Planet Indy will be CLOSED until Saturday October 11th ‼️

All classes cancelled tonight & tomorrow.

We take the health and safety of each member VERY seriously, and 1 case of skin infection is one too many, let alone multiple.

We want to be transparent during this time and will be deep cleaning the gym once again to ensure everything is done on our end to prevent any sort of outbreak, but we ask each member to be PROACTIVE and take accountability if they notice something on their skin.

It is disrespectful to everyone at this gym if you knowingly have a skin infection and decide to step on the mats.

If you notice anything questionable, get with a Coach immediately to have them take a look.

Sorry for any inconvenience, and we will see everyone bright and early Saturday morning for classes.

If you are caught on the mats with skin funk, you will be asked to leave immediately and receive a 2 week suspension. NON NEGOTIABLE.

I just wanted to take this moment to announce my official retirement as 10th Planet Jiu Jiu Jitsu Moonhead. I want to thank for recommending all those years ago and for giving me this honor for all these years. It’s been an amazing journey and I’ve met a lot of amazing people and definitely could write a book from all of the stories along the way. I also want to take this moment to pass the baton to our new Moonhead who Eddie approved, . Ian has been with me for a long time and I know he will carry on the same morales, values, traditions and work ethic that have been established. Congratulations Ian! I look forward to watching your numerous accomplishments!
