Public health comes to life in communities.
During their time in Kenya, our DrPH students visited community organizations and health programs working to address local health challenges and improve quality of life for residents.
These visits provided firsthand insight into how community engagement, partnership, and local leadership drive meaningful health improvements. Students had the opportunity to learn directly from practitioners and community leaders while exploring how public health principles are applied in diverse settings.
Thank you to our community partners for sharing their expertise and experiences and to JKUAT for arranging the visits and providing insight and wisdom.
