In honor of the Social Work Month and recognizing the social injustices around the world you don’t want to miss this virtual dinner and discussion open to the public about the book, The New Jim Crow. The discussion is tomorrow, Thur March 25 6-7:30pm.
Discussion will be centered around color blind, racial bias and stigma.

The MSW Student Association partnered with Solid Word Bible Church in an effort to provide food for families in need for the Thanksgiving holiday. Vice President Dana Hunter assisted in prepping Thanksgiving Baskets for families along with members of the church. Thank you to everyone who volunteered in an effort to assist families in our local community!

MSWSA has partnered with Solid Word Bible Church to bless 30 families in need for Thanksgiving with food baskets in preparation for holiday dinner.
Please donate: canned green beans, canned corn, yams, cornbread, boxed stuffing/dressing, mashed potatoes (instant or sack), macaroni & cheese, turkey or chicken gravy, gallon containers of juice, boxed cake mix, and prepared cake frosting.
Donations are accepted until Sunday, November 22nd.
