Meet Josephine from Dallas, Texas! She also spent 9 years in the UK. She is an English major and a member of , Women+ in Law, and the Brent House.

As a cabinet member, I look forward to creating a space for all women - most especially women denied network, connections, and other systemic privileges - to benefit from the many and varied resources provided by Kappa Alpha Theta and our chapter.”

If you’re in Hyde Park, early voting is available at Ray Elementary School through November 2. Check out for more info on how to vote in your state.

Why we have opted out of COB

The members of the Epsilon Phi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta are working diligently to create an inclusive community where strong and brilliant women support other strong and brilliant women. Here is the current work that we have done so that we may leave this legacy for future leading women of the Epsilon Phi chapter.

We know we haven’t been very active in the past week, not because we do not care but because we have been using this time to reflect on the actions— or lack thereof— from our entire chapter and engage in a productive dialogue to better ourselves. We are working on an Action Plan for what we will be doing moving forward but wanted to wait until our second meeting with alumnae before releasing concrete statements about definite change. In the meantime we wanted to share what has been done

“Lauren proves everyone wrong about the only child stereotype. Since meeting her on move-in day, she’s been the most receptive, generous, and reliable best friend. I’m lucky to be quarantining with her now and there’s never a dull moment- between binging trashy tv, nightly cooking and our spring cleaning sprees, I feel so grateful to have her by my side. Lauren even surprised me by having scavenged a favorite food of mine (Marmite) that I’ve been missing since leaving home. This week we turned the kitchen into a madhouse baking for care packages to send to our friends❤️👏🏻We both can’t wait for our Theta sisters to join us on campus when this is all over!”
