throwing tall and narrow vessels are some of my favorite forms to throw. it is so satisfying to me.

the aim of this class is to teach you my tips and tricks for accomplishing this. i would describe this as more of a technique focused course suitable for middle (intermediate) class throwers, which hopefully will get you moving towards putting your own spin on whatever larger vessels you’re seeking to make!

available for purchase in my online shop: a very petite lamp, with unfinished brass hardware and a vintage inspired plug. the surface is mostly a pure white with flashes of a pinkish-brown haze and dark speckles. pipe runs from neck to base and is secured on the bottom. the bottom is felted to protect surfaces.

15in tall with lampshade, which is clip-on. base is 5in at the widest point. cord is about 6-1/2ft in length. all hardware and wiring is new. see the last photo where dexter provides some scale. :)
