Hey everyone! As we head into the warmer months, it’s time to get our community garden ready for a fantastic growing season and we need your help to make it happen.

We are looking for volunteers from all across our community to pitch in and help keep the garden thriving over the summer. Whether you have a green thumb or just want to lend a hand, there is a spot for you.

2026 Garden Watering Sign Up We have a beautiful learning garden planted by our students. In order to keep these gardens healthy, we need to water it every day. Sign up for as many watering slots as you can. Watering can be done any time of day. If it rains an inch or more on the day you were assigned to water, you do not need....

We wanted to send a quick note of gratitude to the team at Aw'sum Snoballs for joining us for Field Day. Seeing the smiles on the kids' faces as they grabbed their cones was definitely a highlight of the day. They are consistently a fan favorite at George W. Julian School 57. Thank you for being such an aw'sum part of our event!

The PTSA had a blast celebrating our incredible staff at George W. Julian School 57 and making sure they felt the love for everything they do. It was such a joy to see the smiles as we shared treats and celebrated the people who pour so much heart into our students every day. We are truly lucky to have such a dedicated team of educators. A huge thank you to the staff for your brilliance and a quick shout out to our volunteers who helped us bring all of this to life ✈️💙

Our amazing staff has been hard at work planning Field Day and we are helping the school get the word out about the grade level color assignments so everyone can get prepared!

To help the kids find their teams and show their school spirit, the school is asking that students wear their designated grade level color:

- Kindergarten: Green 💚
- 1st Grade: Red ❤️
- 2nd Grade: Purple 💜
- 3rd Grade: Orange 🧡
- 4th Grade: Blue 💙
- 5th Grade: Tie-Dye 🌈 (Staff Note: Please send in a plain white t-shirt by 4/28 so the kids can make their own!)
- Life Skills: Yellow 💛

Last year, a class had matching sweatband sets and it was the absolute cutest! The school has created an Amazon Wish List if you'd like to help by donating a set for your child's class.
