Decatur Central HS Band Program

After a long and extensive search, we are to announce that Joshua Williams will serve as the next percussion director for Decatur Central HS. Mr. Williams brings a wealth of knowledge with seventeen years of teaching and judging experience in the marching arts. We are excited for the future of our percussion program under Mr. Williams’ leadership.

We are also ecstatic to announce that Melissa Vall de Ruten — known as Ms. V by several students — will be joining our percussion team as our assistant percussion director. Ms. V is a passionate educator with many years of service to Decatur Township in math classrooms. We are fortunate to have her leadership within our percussion programs.
