Hey Orchestra Fam! Don't forget the Orchestra Boosters Meeting Tuesday!!!

The FC Orchestra Boosters is a non-profit organization that operates fundraising and communication drives to support our students! If you are an FC Orchestra Booster! Please come to our first meeting of the school year, Tuesday, September 8 at 6:30PM. The meeting will be in our new General Music classrooms - watch for signs to direct you to us!

Trash bag pick up will be at this meeting. We'll see you there!

While not a normality for the Franklin Central Orchestra to perform at a football game, this past Friday, September 4, 2026, they did just that. The FC Strings delivered a remarkable rendition of the National Anthem as a pre-game between the Flashes and Brownsburg Bulldogs.

Although the game may not have ended with the victory they wanted, the FC Strings certainly scored a touchdown on the hearts of the audience.

The ALL-IMPORTANT BOOSTER MEETING is coming up!

📅 Tuesday, September 8
⏰ 6:30 PM ON THE DOT
🗑️ And YES… you’ll also be picking up your TRASH BAGS!

And now for a little brag session… because these kids absolutely KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK! 🎻🔥

I wouldn’t necessarily put my car’s pink slip on it 😂, but these may be some record-breaking Trash Bag Fundraiser numbers!

🥁 Drumroll, please…

We sold NEARLY 600 ROLLS!!! 🎉🎉🎉

That is a whole lot of trash bags, folks. Your garages may never recover. 😂

Quick reminder that our Trash Bag Fundraiser officially ends, August 21, 2026, TOMORROW! 🗑️💨

Please have your student bring their fundraiser forms to school along with cash or check. Checks should be made payable to Franklin Central Orchestras.

🏆 And don’t forget: We’ll be giving away a $50 gift card to the top seller!

On September 15, our orchestra students are going to need their concert attire distributed, and right now…

👀 We have ZERO volunteers signed up.

Yep. Zero. Zilch. Nada. 🎻😬

We need 3 parent volunteers to help distribute concert attire starting at 3:00 PM for approximately 2 hours.

And students, this is your moment. 👇

Send this post to your parent. Tag them. Text them. Give them the look. 😂

Because nothing says “I love you” quite like volunteering so you can get your concert clothes without having to figure out where the heck you’re supposed to go. 😆🎶

It’s only 2 hours, it helps the orchestra run smoothly, and your student gets to say, “My parent helped!” 😂

Don’t want to bother family or go door-to-door? No problem! Go where the trash actually happens. 😂🗑️

Try reaching out to:

• 🧹 Cleaning companies & housekeepers – They go through bags constantly.

• 🏢 Property management companies – Move-outs, maintenance, common areas… lots of trash, lots of bags.

• 🛍️ Small businesses – Restaurants, salons, offices, daycares, retail shops, etc. One business could be worth several family members’ worth of sales!

Think outside the house and help our orchestra students hit that fundraising goal! 🎻💙
