(This link should take you to M. Kaye Maxwell’s
obituary page.)
Yesterday was the visitation for Kaye at
Flanner & Buchanan, Carmel.
It was extremely moving to see so many people in attendance from her past years. (She had 88 years, I can only hope & pray I have as many years.)
I am proud to have been able to call this lady “my sister”, even if early in my career many people did not know my name, because so many times in those early years I was introduced as “Kaye’s little brother”.
Yesterday, in attendance was family, personal friends and professional associates. We gathered to show our respects for this wonderful & accomplished woman.
She was a sister, a mother, a grandmother, a great-grandmother and an aunt. But above all she was a sincere, caring and loving individual.
There were many past students & prior employees (too many for me to list in fear I would leave someone out.)
To all of you I want to say “Thank you!”
