The Indiana Department of Health is seeking 20 child care programs for their new Breastfeeding‑Friendly Childcare Designation pilot. Upon completing requirements, you'll be eligible to receive up to $1,000 in supplies to support infant feeding needs with the option to simultaneously apply for the Wellness Council of Indiana’s Breastfeeding‑Friendly Workplace designation. You'll be expected to complete ~16 hours of independent work and attend 1.5 hours of virtual meetings over four months.

Last week was a busy one for CCA! Mollie and Lane met up with our friend Kelsey from Early Learning Indiana at the Women's Health at Work Forum on Thursday. Thanks to the organizer for bringing child care as a workforce strategy to the forefront and giving us an opportunity to learn more about parental leave, lactation support, mental health, dual roles: caregiving/career, and menopause at work.
