Monday night NoGi!

We had 8 competitors at the IBJJF Columbus this past weekend. We had at least 1 competitor from every belt level - finishing with 8x🥇 (4 in weight divisions and 4 in the open class)

Congratulations to our guys who competed at Fuji over the weekend! Everyone got some Ws - big congrats to Greg and Bracken for winning their divisions, and to Carson and Cole for jumping into their first tournament!

This past weekend it was Columbus Indiana, this coming weekend it’s Columbus Ohio for the IBJJF!

We had a group of competitors make the trip to the IBJJF Chicago Open yesterday. Small group but lots of good matches. Congratulations to Brent winning his division 🥇, Raj taking 🥈 in a tough group, and Will earning 🥉 in his first competition in a few years!

Bri wins 🥇 today at Grappling Industries in a very tough, competitive bracket. Two kneebars and an armbar for her wins! Congratulations Bri.

2026 IBJJF Pan Am Championships is a wrap!

We are proud of our 5 competitors who competed over the course of this massive 5 day event. Each represented the team in exciting, hard fought matches.

We’re coming back motivated from the technical and tactical lessons learned on the mat, and in high spirits from all the fun we had hanging out together.

We’ll be back next year!

30+ people starting their weekend at our All Levels Saturday 10am class!

We had 27 competitors at the Indianapolis IBJJF tournament this past weekend. Carlson Gracie Team took 2nd 🥈 overall!

This is one of the most fun competitions of the year for us - there is always an impressive amount of talent and the event is only growing every year. The energy and camaraderie during the event and the lead up to it is unmatched.

The big standouts from this year were:
-Ryan going undefeated in Gi and NoGi, winning all 5 of his matches by submission!
-Ricardo, James and Max becoming the first kids from Champlin Jiu-Jitsu to compete in the IBJJF. This is a HUGE milestone for us. Congratulations Ricardo on becoming the first to win the 🥇
-Lawson absolutely dominating all 3 of his matches in his IBJJF debut

The spring/summer schedule is full of IBJJF events in the Midwest (Chicago, Columbus, St. Louis, Detroit..) so it’s back to the gym and on to the next one!
