Exciting news from Mr. Peter Felice!

I applied for the grant in September which included giving some background on our school and the music program. I talked about the growth of the program which included adding 5th grade band as well as returning to CYO after being absent from the contest since 2019. I also submitted a video discussing why we are in need of an electric piano to replace our worn down out of tune upright that has been collecting dust over the years. I also explained how difficult our current choir risers were to move and that because of the unevenness they became a concern for our students' safety. My goal is to purchase a new set of foldable choir risers in addition to the electric piano.

Out of 148 recipients, we were one of 14 to receive the grant. Words can not really express my joy that a small private school in Irvington is receiving this kind of support towards the arts, and I have to thank the students primarily for all of the work they have put into growing this program.
