The Kennesaw State University Electric Vehicle Team is an organization that designs, builds, and races electric vehicles for competition.

EVT allows students to apply knowledge learned in the classroom to all aspects of the design and build processes of electric vehicles. Students are able to gain real world experience while building interpersonal skills and networking connections. There are two branches of EVT: The Formula SAE-Electric division and the EVGrand Prix Go-Kart division. These divisions are divided into smaller sub team

We are in the planning stages of this semester's engineering intro courses open to all who are interested. They are a great way for students to learn about topics outside of their major. Below is a brief summary of the classes that we will be setting up. They are expected to be held on Thursday night's at 8 PM (in various locations) we will post specific events for each one as we arrange for spaces.

The number of classes are not set and will be talked about during todays meeting (9/20)
Paige Brown - Tool Usage (mandatory for all machining members) 1-2 classes
Paige Brown and Caesar Gonzales - Machining 2-4 classes
Mike Jerrell - Circuits 1-2 classes
Jacob Martinez - Software 1-2 classes
Hugh Cathey - Solidworks 1-3 classes

Depending on interest we may also plan for a digital logic class and a battery technology class.

A couple updates:
- Our first team meeting is today (8/16) at 8PM
- We will be recruiting at the Soar Fair tomorrow (8/17) at 10PM. Meet at Wilder.
- Our intro meeting for new members will be next Wednesday (8/23) at 8PM
