Missouri’s Supreme Court and Governor Mike Parson have denied last-ditch efforts to stop Marcellus Williams’ ex*****on, which is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT tonight.

Williams has spent 24 years on death row for a murder that DNA evidence proves he didn’t commit, a fact even his prosecutors now agree on. St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney Wesley Bell has raised concerns about DNA evidence on the murder weapon that was not of Williams.

There were also constitutional errors in William’s original criminal trial, the court documents state, citing issues including the removal of at least one prospective Black juror due to race.

Hundreds of thousands have spoken out in hopes of stopping his ex*****on - including the victim’s family.
