What a day at the W Awards for Washington Township Schools. The ELC was very well represented with awards going to Dwi Lestari for Classified Employee of the Year, April Oldham for Teacher of the Year, Meg Nation with winning the Phil Smith Above and Beyond Award and honoring our very own Teacher of the Year April Oldham for her retirement after 47 remarkable years in Washington Township as an educator. Talk about growing Panthers! Ms April also attended Washington Township Schools for 12 years before coming back and dedicating her life to our students in this district.

May has been an amazing month! We celebrated our fantastic teachers and staff, got our lending library up and running, welcomed the class of 2026 to our building, and much more!

Such an exciting week for Teacher Appreciation Week! We have been spoiled with an amazing lunch from Charleston’s on Monday. Tuesday Kristin and Kathy delivered charcuterie cups around to everyone. Wednesday we celebrated our spectacular nurse Lenora. Thursday we had a Sunday Bar and Buntinis from Nothing Bundt Cakes and received a gift bag with gift cards and goodies. Tomorrow we will have a delicious breakfast provided by our parents. Thank you to everyone for making our week so special, sharing your amazing children with us and making this a great school year!

We were honored to celebrate Ms. April yesterday. April is retiring from her 47 year career as an MSDWT teacher. Surrounded by her family, April’s party was a true testimony of her love and commitment to her students and families.

HAPPY NATIONAL PRINCIPAL’S DAY TO OUR INCREDIBLE LEADER KRISTIN PARISI. SHE LOVES ALL OF OUR STUDENTS UNCONDITIONALLY AND SHOWS SO MUCH SUPPORT FOR HER STAFF. WE APPRECIATE EVERYTHING SHE DOES.
