Dr. Colleen Wynn has a new blog post about her Teaching Sociology article, “Approaches to Focusing on Employability in the Sociology Major” (co-authored with Drs. Chad Menning, Melinda Messineo, and Mary Senter) which was published last summer. In the blog Dr. Wynn and her co-authors summarize their discussion about approaches to employability in sociology major curriculums.

Sociology builds marketable skills for varied careers. Faculty can boost readiness through employability courses or integrated curricula focused on transferable skills, networking, and career prep.
