Do you work somatically as a professional in your field? Whether you're in mental health, bodywork, movement, music therapy, or another field, if you work somatically then we'd love to have you join us for the next meetup of Indiana Somatically-Oriented Practitioners' Association (I-SOPA)! It will take place on Sunday, September 28, 3-5 pm at Studio A Body Therapy (554 Pit Rd. Suite 211, Brownsburg, IN 46112).

"Somatic" is defined as approaches that emphasize internal perception and experience, inviting curious exploration of the self as perceived from within.

No previous attendance or association membership is required in order to attend. I-SOPA meetups provide a chance for those of us working throughout the state to connect with other somatically-minded practitioners of various fields, swap info for referrals, share success stories, and learn from each other. Join in on the exciting somatic movement happening here in Indiana!

Open Stage is a new opportunity for local dance makers, presented by Indianapolis Movement Arts Collective and made possible by the Allen Whitehill Clowes Charitable Foundation. Through Open Stage, Indy Movement Arts will produce new and experimental work by local dance makers in our home at The Basile Opera Center. Through this program, selected artists will not have to pay a dime in venue rental fees, will receive a $250 stipend, and keep 100% of ticket proceeds. Open Stage is presented by Indianapolis Movement Arts Collective in collaboration with the Indianapolis Opera and Indy Convergence.
