This summer, Douglas K. Rex, MD, was honored with the J.O. Ritchey Emeriti Faculty Service Award, recognizing IU School of Medicine emeritus faculty who continue to advance the school's mission after retirement.

Through decades of leadership, innovation, teaching and patient care, Dr. Rex has helped shape the field of colonoscopy and improve colorectal cancer screening for patients around the world. His continued dedication reflects the spirit of this prestigious award.
