Strong math instruction at the middle school level is critical to setting our students up for long-term success, and finding the right educator makes a meaningful difference!

CH Indy's IndyTeach program prepares those who want to transition to a career in education with the opportunity to do that in a one-year, paid apprenticeship. Many of our current teachers and staff have gone through the program, and we're happy to partner with other schools looking for innovative ways to train new teachers.

Today we remember our founder, Christel DeHaan. In 1998, she founded Christel House International, with the first school opening in Mexico.

Christel House in the US opened in 2002, when Indiana approved the opening of charter schools. We’ve grown from one K-4 elementary school to two K-8 schools, a traditional high school, and an adult high school on four campuses, and remain one of the oldest charter school networks in Indiana.

We remain grateful for Christel's vision and dedication to children and families in our community, and are committed to building on her legacy for many years to come.

Thank you to our friends at Eli Lilly and Company for spending the morning at CH South for their Global Day of Service! This amazing team cleared out garden beds, pulled weeds at the football field, and decorated bulletin boards. We appreciate their hard work and heart for the community!

Vaccinations will not be available at the ice cream social this year, but there are still plenty of opportunities to make sure your children are caught up on vaccines before school starts!
