Even more meaningful — 100% of donations from this event will be donated to Peace Restored, a local nonprofit providing holistic mental health support for women healing from trauma, grief, addiction, and life’s challenges.
Peace Restored offers:
• Licensed therapy & Christian counseling
• Support groups & education

🌟 Giving Tuesday is almost here! 🌟
As a Nonprofit Organization, Women in Leadership – Morgan County has been proud to give back to the community that continues to support us. ❤️
From sponsoring local little league teams at Paragon Firefighter's Field Baseball and donating to Porch Time LLC fundraisers, to being able to send our board members to Women Inspiring Women Martinsville, to hosting community workshops with Top Self and professional headshot events with Connie Etter Photography LLC, where donations went directly to organizations like the Morgan County Humane Society and Impossible The Movement and Malibu house) — we’ve made it our mission to serve, empower, and uplift. 💪
This past year alone, we’ve hosted events like:
⚡ Earth Day Boot Camp at the YMCA of Morgan County with Anytime Fitness Martinsville to get our community moving
🍩 Donuts with Dad at Mooresville Parks & Recreation District to celebrate Father’s Day
💼 Professional development and empowerment events for women across Morgan County
As Giving Tuesday approaches, we’d be honored if you’d consider supporting Women in Leadership – Morgan County.
Your donation helps us continue creating opportunities, building connections, and investing back into our community. 💛

There’s nothing wrong with leaning on your friends.
BUT some conversations feel easier with people who just get it.
Who don’t need the whole backstory.
Who don’t ask, “Why would that upset you?”
Who don’t look confused when you say a text message sent you into a spiral.
When you're around people who understand relationship insecurity—who've lived it themselves—something shifts.
You don't have to over-explain. You don’t feel embarrassed. And most importantly, you don’t feel alone.
That’s the magic of safe spaces. The kind where shame CAN'T survive.

Let me explain why my German Shepherd is about to take over your feed.
Yes, partly because he’s adorable.
But also because I believe leadership and life lessons are everywhere... if you’re paying attention.
This is Gunner—my German Shepherd puppy, my built-in walking buddy, nervous system co-regulator, and surprisingly insightful mirror.
Because:
The line between personal and professional is thinner than we like to admit.
Who we are at home often drives how we lead work.
And sometimes, it’s the simplest interactions, the everyday stuff, that reveals the most about who we are.
So I’m kicking off a new series:
Paws and Patterns – Lessons From My German Shepherd.
Whether we’re trying to lead ourselves in a healthier way in our romantic relationships or our work relationships.
Think: trust, emotional regulation, boundaries, focus, and yes—vulnerability (he has very strong opinions about belly rubs).
Sometimes our lessons shows up in a strategy session.
Sometimes they shows up during a 4AM potty breaks when no one's watching.
Either way, Gunner’s got something to teach us.
And I’ll be here each week to translate.

That voice in your head that whispers:
💭 "I’m not enough.”
💭 "I should be doing more.”
💭 "I’m too much... or maybe not enough of anything."
You’re not alone.
So many of us carry these thoughts quietly, believing we’re the only ones.
But this Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s say it loud:
✨ You’re not broken. You’re human. ✨
Progress starts when we stop hiding.
🧠 If you’re ready to shift those inner narratives and build real confidence, use the link in my bio to schedule a FREE discovery call.
