🌟 Saturday Spotlight: Meet Our Elementary Teachers! 🌟

Today, we’re shining the spotlight on three wonderful members of the Marian University Preparatory School elementary team — Ms. Brown, Ms. Schaeffer, and Ms. Morgan!

Our elementary teachers help our youngest learners build strong foundations, discover new interests, ask BIG questions, and grow in confidence each day.

We’re so glad to have Ms. Brown, Ms. Schaeffer, and Ms. Morgan helping our MU Prep students Begin Here. Rise Anywhere.

Give our elementary teachers a little love in the comments!

Grow Your Heart Thursday: Find the Good!

Gratitude doesn’t have to be about the big things. Sometimes it’s a beautiful sunrise, laughing with a friend, learning something new, spending time with a pet, enjoying a favorite meal, or simply being with family.

This week at Marian University Preparatory School, we’re challenging our students and families to pause and notice the good.

✨ Today’s challenge: Write down THREE good things that happened today. Big or small—they all count!

Gratitude helps us notice God’s blessings all around us. ❤️

💬 Now it’s your turn! What are you thankful for today? Share something good in the comments!

✨ Wacky Wednesday! ✨

What if Jesus had social media? 😄 His message might have sounded a little like: “Follow me—and don’t forget to like and share!” 💜

Of course, Jesus wasn’t asking for likes or followers online. He was asking people to follow Him, live out His love, and share the Good News with others.

At Marian University Preparatory School, we’re reminded that being a light doesn’t have to mean doing something huge. Sometimes it looks like:

❤️ Being kind
🤝 Helping someone
💬 Offering encouragement
🫶 Including someone
🙏 Praying for someone

Jesus tells us, “You are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14

So here’s our Wacky Wednesday challenge: What’s ONE way you can let your light shine this week? 🌟

💡 Try It Tuesday!

Where you learn can make a BIG difference! A dedicated learning space can help you focus, build a routine, stay organized, and do your best work.

At Marian University Preparatory School, learning happens wherever you are—so make your space work for YOU!

Try a few small changes this week:
✨ Choose a quiet spot
✨ Keep your space organized
✨ Have your supplies ready
✨ Remove distractions
✨ Add something that motivates you

💬 Now it’s your turn! Where is YOUR favorite place to learn? At a desk? On the couch? At the library? Outside? Somewhere else?

Grow Your Mind Monday!

Did you know that rivers have helped shape where people live for thousands of years? Rivers provide water, food, transportation, fishing, and places for communities to grow.

This week at Marian University Preparatory School, we’re exploring the journey of a river—from its source, through its tributaries, all the way to its mouth—and discovering some of the amazing rivers that connect our world.

🔎 This Week’s Challenge: Find a river near where you live!
Can you discover its name, where it flows, and how nearby communities use it?

💬 Share & Think: If you could visit any river in the world, which one would you choose—and why?

Rivers connect us. Rivers sustain us. Let’s protect them!

When learning feels hard, **don’t give up.**

As assignments begin to pile up and new concepts become more challenging, it’s easy for students to feel frustrated or discouraged. But struggling doesn’t mean you aren’t learning—sometimes, it means you’re right in the middle of growing.

At **Marian University Preparatory School**, we encourage our students to keep trying, learn from their mistakes, and trust that perseverance matters.

📖 *“Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”* — Galatians 6:9

May we have patience with ourselves this week and confidence that we can learn and grow—even when it’s hard. 🙏

🏀 **FUN FACT FRIDAY!**

Did you know Michael Jordan was cut from his high school varsity basketball team as a sophomore?

Instead of letting that setback stop him, he used it as motivation to work harder, practice more, and keep going. His story is a great reminder for our students at **Marian University Preparatory School** that struggling with something doesn’t mean you can’t succeed—it may just mean you’re still growing.

⭐ Setbacks can be the beginning of success.

**Think about it:** What’s something difficult you’ve overcome by **not giving up**? Tell us in the comments!

💗 **Grow Your Heart Thursday!** 💗

Kindness doesn’t have to be a big gesture to make a big difference. A compliment, a helping hand, a kind note, or simply holding the door open can brighten someone’s entire day. 💕

🌟 **This week’s challenge:** Do **ONE unexpected act of kindness** for someone!

Then come back and tell us about it in the comments. What did you do? How did it make you feel? Maybe your idea will inspire someone else to spread a little kindness too! 💚

Small acts can change someone’s day—and together, kind hearts can make a better world. ❤️
