Perfectionism can be tricky because it doesn’t always look negative at first. In riding, it can look like serious dedication, working hard, and wanting to get everything right to achieve your goals. These things aren’t necessarily bad 🤔

‼️The problem is when that mindset turns into pressure. When every mistake feels catastrophic, one bad jump ruins your ride, or you are so focused on doing everything “perfectly” that you cannot actually ride freely, perfectionism starts to hurt performance more than help it‼️

Riding well is not about being perfect. That is simply impossible. It is about staying present, adjusting, and continuing on.

✨The riders who improve the most are not the ones who never make mistakes. They are the ones who don’t let mistakes take them out of the ride ✨

✨ Pick a cue word (forward, rhythm, soft)
✨ Pair it with a physical action (heels down, shoulders back, eyes up)

Every time you stick to your routine.
