Electrical Training Institute of Indianapolis

On Wednesday, July 22nd, we will once again be hosting our Back To School Night here at the Training Center for ALL current apprentices of the Electrical Training Institute of Indianapolis. While this event is specifically designed to welcome our current apprentices back to school just prior to the Fall 2026 semester, it also serves as an opportunity for those within our apprenticeship program to share with their friends and families all which can be found by choosing a career in the electrical union construction industry. Should any of those friends and family members be interested in taking the next step towards securing an opportunity within the apprenticeship program for themselves, we will be waiving application fees on all first-time applicants and the apprentice responsible for bringing the applicant to the event, will receive a free ETI sweatshirt if the application is fully submitted.

One of our best marketing tools will always be the apprentices currently completing the apprenticeship program so bring someone who you believe has what it takes to make it through one of the absolutely best apprenticeship programs in the United States.

We are just less than three weeks away from our inaugural Apprentice Only Health Screening here at the Training Center. In addition to the $400.00 cost savings on your yearly insurance deductible if you attend this event, there will be over $5,000.00 in cash awards and prizes given out. However, most importantly, we want to ensure our apprentices are all healthy and free from any unknown medical issues which should be addressed sooner rather than later...and you may not know unless you get checked out. Thanks to all who joined us this evening for our 5th Annual Apprenticeship Open House Event…which was absolutely attended by more individuals than ever before! We will have the final number of both attendees and new applications in the morning but we had a line of people out the door and all the way down the sidewalk for the first two hours of the event. It was truly such a great evening where we were provided with the opportunity to showcase our world class apprenticeship program to the general public!

Back for our fifth consecutive year, we are proud to announce our Annual Apprenticeship Open House Event will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, starting at 4:30 pm. As always, this event is open to the general public and is a wonderful opportunity to learn all that is possible with pursuing an apprenticeship opportunity within the union electrical construction industry. We will have food and drinks for all attendees along with the possibility to win prizes. Additionally, we will waive the $35.00 application fee for all first-time applicants creating a user account while attending this event. There is no better time than now to pursue a career with IBEW Local 481 and Central Indiana Chapter NECA by joining the apprenticeship program here at the Electrical Training Institute of Indianapolis, where your future starts now!

As previously shared last week, our apprenticeship program recently received the 2026 Top Notch Training Excellence Award at the Annual Top Notch Banquet held Thursday, May 14th at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Pictured below is our Training Director, Andre Grocox, and the seven members of the 2026 Apprenticeship Advisory Council (AAC) accepting the award on behalf of what really makes our program as great as it is...the 1,100+ registered apprentices currently within our apprenticeship program.

Special thanks to both IBEW Local 481 and the Central Indiana Chapter NECA for their continued efforts to make our program one of the premier apprenticeship programs which can be found throughout the entire United States and Canada.
