This week, we celebrate the incredible work of our school social workers who go above and beyond to support our students, families, and school community.
A special shout out to our very own Mrs. Tarver and Mrs. Phelps 💙
Social workers play a vital role in ensuring that every student has the support they need to thrive, from mental health resources to academic assistance and everything in between. We are grateful for their dedication, care, and commitment to making a positive impact on our students' lives.
Let’s show our appreciation for our school social workers and the difference they make every day! 🌟

Throughout February, we honored the incredible contributions and achievements of Black individuals throughout history. At PSA, we believe in the power of diversity, and we are proud to celebrate the rich legacy of Black culture, leadership, and excellence.
This past month, we shared stories, lessons, and highlights of Black pioneers who have shaped our world. Let's continue to learn, reflect, and grow together as we pay tribute to the generations of Black leaders who have paved the way for a brighter future.

PSA joins the fight against breast cancer by going pink.
Fast Facts: Every 2 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with breast cancer. It’s a matter of
when, not if, someone in your workplace will receive a breast cancer diagnosis.
Did you know, in Marion County African American women are less likely to be diagnosed with breast cancer but are up to about 40 % more likely to die from the disease?
Breast cancer disparities among Black and Brown women still exist in 2024, while overall survival rates are improving!
Poverty blocks Black and Brown women from care, sometimes on daily basic things like transportation for treatment. This can be vital for women who need radiation therapy. This treatment must be given daily.
Frequently, students or staff in the homes of loved ones battling cancer support them in silence while trying to keep up with their education and job responsibilities.
