She Earned her MFA in Glass from Tyler School of Art and Architecture, and her BFA from Kansas City Art Institute. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Craft and Design (San Francisco), UrbanGlass (Brooklyn), and Crane Arts (Philadelphia). She lives and works in Indianapolis and is a Long-Term Artist-in-Residence at the Contemporary Art Museum of Indianapolis (CAMi) and was most recently Awarded the McPherson-Wortley Emerging Artist Award with the Glass Art Society.

Christen has been working in glass for 9 years, but exclusively with hot glass processes for 4 years. She likes to make blown glass mirrors, and small sculpted components for larger works using glass.

In case you missed it—our sister company, GRT Glass Design, was part of this incredible project.

Standing at MLK Park and the Kennedy King Memorial Park, you can feel the vision, persistence, and belief that brought this to life.

This space carries deep significance—not only because of Martin Luther King Jr. and Robert F. Kennedy, but because of what unfolded here in 1968.

A powerful story, now told in a way you can truly see and feel.
