GEO Next Generation Academy Indianapolis The GEO Academies Model provides innovative K-16 education pathways grounded in a personalized and research-based approach to learning.

We prepare students beginning in kindergarten to accelerate into our free college and career immersion high school. Former Indiana Black Expo President Tanya McKinzie played a key role in opening GEO Next Generation High School in Indianapolis. Inspired by the success of GEO 21st Century Academy in Gary, she visited in 2019 and saw firsthand that half of the students were taking real college cours

es at Ivy Tech, IUN, and Purdue NW—many earning associate degrees and career certifications before graduation. GEO Next Generation Academy launched in 2020 with grades 9–12, expanded to include 7th and 8th grades in 2023, and by 2024 grew to a full K–12 school serving 500 students on one campus.

Amazing teachers shine in the eyes of everyone! Mr. Terry Williams is our first Teacher of the Month for our 7-12 building. He teachers our percussion / drum line course and Intro to Construction. When he is done teaching he is also our building Maintenance Guru! There is nothing this man won’t do to make our school special for our kids. Congratulations Mr. Williams!!
