Spring semester through the lens of our DPT program! 🤩

Congratulations IU DPT class of 2026 on finishing their FINAL day of school! They had their award ceremony today where outstanding students in the class were recognized for their academic, civic, and interpersonal excellence along with their own class superlative award ceremony.

We can’t wait to see them walk on stage and officially become Doctor of Physical Therapists. 🎓🏅

IU DPT students represented Indiana APTA at Capitol Hill Day in Washington, D.C. Shoutout to our students for making sure physical therapy voices are heard!

2nd year IU DPT students had the opportunity to teach IU School of Medicine students about Musculoskeletal examination techniques. Our students taught observation, palpation, range of motion, strength testing, neuro status examination, special tests, and more to the medical students. Thank you IU School of Medicine for this collaboration!

This semester, 2nd year students had the opportunity to treat the Indiana University Redsteppers during their Musculoskeletal ICE visit. They were able to practice their MSK class skills with advice and help from Dr. Culiver. Thank you IU Redsteppers!

Did you know physical therapy started gaining recognition in the early 1900s when women called reconstruction aides helped injured soldiers recover during World War I. Their work helped shape the profession we know today. 💪✨
