Orchard Park Preschool

OPP launched our first week of summer enrichment! What an amazing first week it was?!? We welcomed 36 campers to half day or full day Zoo Themed week! We played with all things animals! We made animal masks, took our animals to the mud pit, read books about the zoo, made enclosure for the zoo, went on scavenger hunter for animals and made friends. We definitely didn’t let a little rain dampen our fun, we just went outside in our bathing suits and just played! See if you can spot all the ways we are learning through child-led PLAY!!!!

We are delighted to share exciting news with our Orchard Park Preschool family and give thanks for God’s faithfulness in every season. After an extensive interview and discernment process, we have identified our new Assistant Director.
Please join us in celebrating Amber Whisler as she steps into leadership as our Assistant Director. We are incredibly grateful for the gifts, dedication, and servant’s heart she has shown throughout her time as a teacher, and we are excited to see how God will continue to work through her in this new leadership position.

Amber has been a wonderful blessing to our students, families, and staff. Through her commitment, compassion, and love for others, she has faithfully served the school community and reflected Christ in her work. After many years of teaching, she realized one of her greatest joys is encouraging other teachers and helping programs run smoothly so children can thrive. The Assistant Director role felt like a natural step in her journey where she can combine her skills of working with children while also serving as a mentor to staff in an environment that honors Christian values.

As she transitions from the classroom into management, we are confident that the Lord has equipped her for this next step and will continue to guide her as she leads.

We are thankful for her partnership in ministry and for the many ways she has already made a lasting impact. Please join us in congratulating Amber on this well-deserved promotion and in praying for her as she begins this new chapter as our Assistant Director. We will have the opportunity to celebrate this transition and commission her into the role in worship with Orchard Park Presbyterian Church at 10am on Sunday, July 19, where all are invited!
