Circle time is fun!
We're always trying to mix it up a bit outside of the regular calendar talk and weather talk. We like to sing songs and do activities revolving around colors and shapes, counting and number recognition.
This is a good activity that get the kids moving and thinking and working together. We give each kiddo a shape card and they search around the room to find an item that is the same shape. If they need help, their friends jump in.

Last week, the kids had so much fun with this simple science experiment!
We used pepper, milk, and a Q-tip dipped in soap to show how germs don’t like soap. When the soapy Q-tip touched the milk, the “germs” (pepper) scattered away!
It was a fun and visual way to help the children understand why washing our hands is so important.

It's GERM week.
