North Central High School has been named one of only 12 schools statewide to receive the 2026–2027 Cambridge Math & Science Grant from the Indiana Department of Education!

This recognition will help strengthen math and science instruction, expand access to advanced coursework, and continue preparing our students for college, careers, and the opportunities ahead.

We are proud of the educators and leaders whose commitment to innovation and student success made this opportunity possible.

First two days of school, a recap:
✅ Names learned
✅ Lockers found (eventually)
✅ First-day jitters → replaced with excitement
✅ Teachers loving their new classes
✅ New units introduced
✅ First questions asked (and answered!)
✅ Classroom routines taking shape
✅ Curious minds fully engaged

It's shaping up to be a great year! Can't wait to see how far our Panthers grow this year! Two days down, 178 to go! 🎉

We're proud to host the 47th Annual HBCU College Fair! We are excited to welcome the Indianapolis Black Alumni Council back to the halls of North Central High School for this incredible college fair experience!

📍 LOCATION: North Central High School, 1801 East 86th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46240

What to expect:
🎯 Over 50 HBCU admissions officers on-site
💰 Financial aid workshops available
🤝 One-on-one connections with college representatives

Congratulations to Jayden Jefferson, a 2026 NC graduate and recipient of the Indianapolis Urban League's Education Matters Scholarship! 🎓 Jayden graduated with an impressive 4.13 GPA and will be heading to Indiana University to pursue a degree in Biology, with plans to attend dental school and become an orthodontist. We are so proud of Jayden's hard work and excited to see all that the future holds. Way to go, Jayden!

History was made in our district last evening! 🐾

Another great example of 'We Grow Panthers' as we proudly welcomed our students into the newly formed chapters of the National Elementary Honor Society across all eight of our elementary schools.

These outstanding young Panthers continue to shine through their academic success, strong character, leadership, and dedication. Their hard work has earned this well-deserved recognition, and we celebrate this incredible milestone with pride.
