Swana Chepaitis' Studio for Violin Conservatory-trained violinist offering private lessons for violin and viola. Over 25 years of experience teaching kids and adults.

Accepting beginner through advanced level students. One-on-one lessons are tailored to each individual student. Swana Chepaitis is a classically trained violinist and has been teaching the violin (and viola) for more than 20 years. Lessons are taught one-on-one with great attention to each individual student's age, level, and goals. Accepting students age 5 and up, including adult beginners.

Java Night is back!

IHS Performing Arts Department invites you to join them at Java Night on Wednesday February 11th for a fun and relaxing evening fundraiser. Enjoy an evening of music, poetry, and desserts in the IHS Upper Commons, with doors opening at 6:00 PM

Tickets will be sold at the door for $5 for students and $8 for adults

The Commons Café will be open, featuring specialty coffees available for purchase. Come support the performing arts and enjoy a night filled with creativity, great performances, and sweet treats!

Let's think Summer! 🎶🎻💕

Registration is now open for IUP’s Summer Music Camp for the 2026 Summer Session! Join us June 15th-20th (resident move in is June 14th) at Indiana University of Pennsylvania for a week of music-making and immersion!

Take one-on-one lessons from IUP’s esteemed music faculty and play alongside young musicians from across the state in a culminating concert on June 20th. Whether you are vocal or instrumental (or both), a songwriter or aspiring conductor, there is a place for you here at IUP.
