A few snippets of the songs our preschoolers got to enjoy learning and presenting. Congrats to a fine group of Frogs and Butterflies! 🐸🦋

Their final lessons were about the life cycle and how tadpoles transform into frogs, and caterpillars transform into beautiful butterflies. The children also learned that God transforms our lives too when we give our heart to Jesus.

We hope you enjoy their bright smiles and giggles as much as we did!

Thursday was our last day of preschool for the spring. The kids put on a very special presentation for families (videos to come later today). And each kid got a special award that highlighted an amazing quality unique to them. Everyone was very proud of all the growth and accomplishments of the year!

On Wednesday we had a celebration at Getty Heights Park! The kids had a blast. Lots of playtime, a craft, songs, relay games, and yummy snacks!

Lots to share as we wrap up preschool this week!

First, our 4-5 year old class had a fun day on Tuesday. They related camping to trusting God and protecting us. The children enjoyed all the different pieces of camping and they pretended we were camping all day! Campfire and fishing were also favorites. They went on an animal hunt in the church and they especially liked the grand surprise of jumping on the bouce house outside!

This week the kids got to reenact the Easter story! It was such fun for them to dress up and pretend to do what Jesus did starting from the last supper, foot washing, the garden, the cross, and resurrection!

The kiddos loved being outside again, playing noodle socky and doing and Easter egg hunt.

They also went through the Eater story with resurrection eggs and colored eggs with markers and chalk. Some of the children made an Easter cross made of sticks and ribbons to remind us of the true meaning of Easter and Christ's resurrection.
