Next week is a big one for the IUP Tuba and Euphonium Studio! We have Israel Symphony Orchestra tubist, Avital Handler and LA-based freelancer, Beth Chouinard Mitchell joining us on Thursday, March 24th for an afternoon master class and evening recital. Both events are free and open to the public.

Eastman Music Company Artists and tuba sisters, Avital Handler and Beth Mitchell horrified Israeli security when they confessed they first met on Facebook… but despite objections became fast friends anyway, and the rest is history. Heralding from Tel Aviv and Los Angeles, these ladies are making their mark around world as professional tuba players and clinicians. Together they have toured in several countries appearing in concerts and teaching Masterclasses as TubaChic. Both Ms. Handler and Ms. Mitchell are proudly playing Eastman tubas.
