The 52 students selected for the 2026 Undergraduate Summer Opportunities for Applying Research (U-SOAR) will present their original research projects during the U-SOAR Research Symposium on August 19 from 10:00 a.m. to noon in Sutton Hall’s Blue Room.

This photo was taken of the Stapleton Library nearly 50 years ago. The plants were blooming, and the sun was shining brightly to welcome students in for another day of learning. This space has supported generations of scholars and will continue to do so for years to come. What’s your favorite library memory?

The IUP Libraries family is saddened by the passing of Juni, one of our beloved therapy dogs and a cherished friend to our campus community.
Throughout the academic year, Juni brought comfort, joy, and countless smiles to students, faculty, and staff during our monthly therapy dog visits. Whether someone needed a break from studying, a moment to de-stress, or simply a wagging tail and a friendly face, Juni was always there to brighten the day.
We are deeply grateful for the unconditional love that Juni shared with our campus and extend our heartfelt condolences to IUP Navigator Sheila Gardner, Juni's devoted owner and handler. Thank you for sharing Juni with all of us over the years. Her gentle spirit and the happiness she brought to so many will never be forgotten.
Rest easy, sweet Juni. ❤️🐾
