🧖‍♀️✨ SPA DAY: Preschool Edition! ✨🧖‍♂️

Who says preschool can’t be relaxing?! 😂 Our little learners enjoyed a special Spa Day filled with pampering, relaxation, and plenty of smiles! 💅💆‍♀️

Sometimes learning means practicing self-care, exploring new sensory experiences, building social skills, and—most importantly—having FUN! 💕

The Indiana Free Library is a collection site for the Indiana County Children and Youth community diaper drive!

📍 A donation box is by the front door on the main floor of the library
🕙 Donations are accepted during regular business hours

Diapers are one of the most requested—and least donated—items for families in need. Your contribution can make an immediate difference for local children and caregivers right here in our community.

Every pack helps. Every donation matters. 💛

We lowered our daily open play admission to $10 because we want to see more folks be able to come out!

The Arc of Indiana County and the many providers in the Community Disability Awareness Workgroup are proud to present the Indiana Meet & Greet with first responders, law enforcement, EMS, fire departments, and individuals with intellectual disabilities and developmental delays to strengthen safety, understanding, and trust between the disability community and emergency professionals. This event is designed with the potential to save lives by creating opportunities for meaningful connections before an emergency occurs.
By bringing together individuals with disabilities, families, caregivers, and staff alongside first responders, the Meet & Greet fosters positive relationships, increases awareness, and builds mutual understanding. These interactions help reduce fear and misunderstanding that can lead to negative outcomes during emergencies or high-anxiety situations.
The event also encourages hands-on learning and exposure for both communities. Participants can become familiar with the sights, sounds, movements, and equipment used by emergency personnel, helping individuals better understand what to expect in a crisis. Likewise, first responders gain insight into the unique needs and communication styles of individuals with disabilities, better preparing them for real-world interactions
