WHAT DETERMINES WHETHER AN ACTION OR INTERVENTION IS PRECISE?
In order to develop precision in whatever we do for the Kingdom of God in any one of the 7 spheres of culture, the first thing we need is to have is a standard by which we can measure excellence and personal precision.
In the Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, our standard and measurement is the Bible, which helps to measure and determine what is excellent and precise. The Word of God is our measuring stick, our plumbline by which we determine whether a concept, thought, heart attitude or action is in line with the Kingdom of Heaven:
"All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to o every good work."
2 Timothy 4:16, NLT
"Behold I am laying a stone in Zion, a tested stone, a precious cornerstone for the foundation, firmly placed. The one who believes in it will not be disturbed. I will make justice the MEASURING LINE and righteousness THE LEVEL . . Isaiah 28:16-17, NASB20
"Then he showed me another vision. I saw the Lord standing beside a wall that had been built using a plumb line. He was using a plumb line to see if it was still straight. And the LORD said to me, "Amos, what do you see?" I answered, "A plumb line." And the Lord replied, "I will test my people with this plumb line. I will no longer ignore their sins. . ." Amos 7:7-8, NLT
To be precise, we need to consistently and daily read, study, meditate, ingest and live by the Word of God, which is our standard of righteousness and ultimate Plumb Line of precision and excellence.
