OMIS PARENT NIGHTS ARE HERE!
We are excited to welcome our OMIS families for Parent Night this week!
📚 4th Grade: Tuesday, August 25
📚 5th Grade: Wednesday, August 26
⏰ 5:00–6:00 p.m.

Doors open at 4:50 p.m. Families should go directly to their child’s classroom.
Parking: Parents may park in the grassy areas in front of the school or on the bus ramp side of the school. All families should enter through the front entrance.
Please note: Due to limited classroom space, this event is for parents/guardians only. We ask that students not attend.

We can’t wait to see our families and share all the exciting things happening in 4th and 5th grade!

Mrs. Johnson’s reading classes are putting their learning to the test! After reading the Great Alcatraz Escape, students wrote persuasive essays, developed theories about what happened to the escapees, and now they’re taking their thinking one step further—building rafts!

Students are testing their designs to see if their rafts could have made the escape possible.
