What a SUPER week at The Goddard School of Indian Land! 🌟💙

From Dress-Up Day and Wacky Wednesday to Favorite Color Day and Pajama Day, our students had a blast expressing themselves, celebrating creativity, and making memories with their friends!

Spirit days aren’t just fun—they help build confidence, encourage self-expression, strengthen classroom community, and create opportunities for meaningful social connections. We love watching our little learners shine in their own unique ways!

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
