🎯 SLIDE BALL!!! 🎯

Friday, students played Slide Ball while practicing dividing rational numbers and integers! ➗ Students worked together to solve problems, and once they got them correct, they got to slide the ball across the tray to see how many points to add to their team’s total. One of the options even allowed teams to SWAP points with another team! 😱😂

Students had a blast while continuing to review adding, subtracting, and multiplying integers. Who says math can’t be fun?! 🧡🖤

Mrs. Allen's 8th hour Indy & SEK History class planned a community service project this quarter to help develop community pride as they learned about our town’s history.
The class organized a "Pennies for Pups" penny war fundraiser for AWOL as their community service project, pitting blended learning classes against each other in a friendly competition and raising $1,163.69 in the process. The class had the opportunity to visit AWOL today to present the check in person and to love on the animals. Congratulations to Ms. Wimp's blended learning class on winning the penny war with a positive $95.30.
