Yesterday morning, Mrs. Goza’s Zero Hour class had some fun with a class-building activity called Quiz-Quiz-Trade! 🧡🖤

Students moved around the room answering questions about their favorite things and learning a little more about their classmates along the way.

A simple activity, lots of smiles, and a great way to continue building connections at IMS. We Are One! 🐾

They stopped by practice and gave the guys a much-needed cool down—with a little help from the fire trucks! 🚒💦

We appreciate our community partners always looking out for our kids. Definitely a fun way to end a hot practice! 🏈🐾

These rankings are a reflection of the hard work happening every day in our classrooms — from our students and staff to our families and community who continue to support our schools.

Day 1 was GOOD… but Day 2 is going to be GREAT! 🧡🖤

🍽️ Lunch is looking a little different at IMS this year… and our students are noticing!

We’re excited to welcome our new food service company, and today there was definitely some excitement in the lunchroom! More options, more variety, and best of all — more students choosing to eat school lunch! 🙌

We love seeing our Bulldogs excited about lunchtime and trying some of the new choices available. 🐾🧡🖤

’Twas the day before school, and all through IMS,
The teachers were ready… well, mostly, I guess.
The classrooms were set and the hallways looked bright,
The MacBooks were charging and lockers shut tight.

The schedules were printed, the lessons prepared,
With hope that the students would actually care.
The Bulldogs were ready, the staff feeling strong,
Because after a summer, it’s time to belong.

Tomorrow the hallways will come back alive,
With sixth graders wondering where Room 105 hides.
Seventh graders catching up, stories to tell,
And eighth graders acting like they know IMS well.

There’ll be laughter and learning, some nerves here and there,
A missing pencil before we even get to first hour somewhere.
There’ll be “What’s my password?” and “Where do I go?”
And at least one student saying, “My schedule says NO!”

But through all the chaos, one thing will be clear:
There’s something pretty special about starting a year.
New chances, new goals, new memories begun,
And a reminder to all that WE ARE ONE.

So Bulldogs, get ready—it’s finally here,
A brand-new beginning, a brand-new school year.
Get some sleep tonight, because tomorrow’s the call…

🏐🏈 IMS Fall Sports Update for Tonight

A couple of schedule updates for this evening:

🏐 Volleyball will begin at 3:55 PM, with optional gym time until 5:30 PM.

🏈 Football practice will be finished at 8:00 PM tonight.
