D.C. – Day 2, Part 2!

Another jam-packed day of learning, exploring, and making memories! Our 8th graders visited the Air and Space Museum, Holocaust Museum, and the National Museum of African American History and culture.

We continued our evening with stops at the Jefferson, FDR, and MLK Memorials before ending the night with some well-deserved fun at Dave & Buster’s!

What an incredible day filled with history, reflection, and unforgettable experiences! 💙💛

DC Day 2 -Part 1!

Another busy morning for our 8th graders! We visited Arlington National Cemetery, the Iwo Jima Memorial, the U.S. Capitol Building, and the National Museum of Natural History.

So much history and learning packed into one morning and we’re not done yet! Off to explore more museums this afternoon! 💙💛

DC Day 1 is complete!

Our IMS 8th graders had an incredible first day in Washington, DC! We packed in a full day of history, learning, and unforgettable experiences!

Today’s stops included the National Museum of the United States Army, National Archives, Pentagon Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, World War II Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and Korean War Veterans Memorial.

What an amazing opportunity for our students to experience history beyond the classroom! 🇺🇸

Fall Fest was an AMAZING success! 🍂

From crafts and games to delicious food, a fire pit, and a movie, our students had such a fun afternoon celebrating fall together!

A HUGE thank you to our amazing IMS PTO for putting everything together and creating such a memorable afternoon for our students. We appreciate all you do to make IMS such a special place! 💙💛

Two great experiences for our students today! 💙💛

Our 7th graders spent the day exploring Lake View Cemetery and the Cleveland Cultural Gardens, while our 8th graders participated in an amazing career panel focused on careers in government—perfect timing as they get ready for their trip to Washington, D.C. next week! 🇺🇸

A huge thank you to our staff, PTO, and career panel speakers for helping make these meaningful opportunities possible for our students. Another great day at IMS!

Last night marked our 8th grade girls’ final home game of the regular season! These girls have had a great season, and we are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and Blue Devil pride!

We will certainly miss having this group as part of IMS next year, but we can’t wait to see all they accomplish at IHS! 💙💛
