Associate Professor Dr. James Connors, Dr. Neil Bernard (Class of 2023), and Dr. Halle Strachan (Class of 2025) took home 2nd place in the residency poster competition for "A Rare Case of Diffuse Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumor".

This week, KSUCPM took over Kent State Florence for its Foot & Ankle Renaissance CME program! Each May, the teams at CPM at KSU Florence come together to host DPMs and speakers from around the world for and unforgettable 15 continuing education hours of engaging presentations and memories to last a lifetime.

Last week, the KSUCPM student chapter of ALPS hosted Kerecis for a hands-on wound care skills lab! ❤️‍🩹

The students gained valuable hands-on experience and exposure to advanced wound care techniques, complementing their academic training with practical application. Special thanks to Dr. Greg Sheremeta, DPM, MPH, who lead the session and shared his clinical expertise.

Congratulations to the KSUCPM research team on a top ten poster, besting nearly 400 others at the Spring Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC) in Charlotte, NC last weekend!

The poster, “Exploring Socioeconomic and Clinical Predictors of Diabetic Foot Ulcer Healing: A Post‑Hoc Analysis,” was selected as one of the conference’s Rapid-fire Poster Award winners.

This is just one exciting snapshot of the quality and impact of the work being done within the wound care research department at KSUCPM!

Friday, April 10th was Legislative Day on campus at KSUCPM!

Hosted by the American Podiatric Medical Student Association (APMSA) in partnership with the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Association (OHFAMA), students gained the powerful insight on how to connect with legislators to advance and protect the future of podiatric medicine!

Meet our old pal - and new Director of Admissions - Kevin Schaefer! 👋

No stranger to KSUCPM, Kevin worked in our admissions office from 2010 - 2016 and was eager to come back and support current and prospective students in their journey when the opportunity arose.
